DLP^® technology uses a fringe projection method to capture human faces fast and accurately. Illuminated with a harmless LED light source, a single scan is complete in less than 0.2 seconds. Once automatic alignment of the facial data is compiled, matching with stored database files takes less than one second per 100 comparisons. This makes it useful for fast ID verification and facial recognition.
