Portable Street Measuring System

for the macro texture of street surfaces

streetsystem2GFM’s new street measuring system is ideally suited for construction sites. It can be disassembled into a few parts, each with its own rugged aluminum housing, making it easy to transport.

The optical system acquires two million surface data points per second. With a measuring area of 320 x 240 mm² (approx. 12x9”), this allows for extremely accurate analysis. The system's height resolution of 20µm enables perfect evenness and wear analysis. Even black and glossy tar surfaces. often difficult with optical systems. are handled with ease.

The entire equipment (consisting of a sensor and a mobile computer) can be operated on either 120/230 VAC or 12 VDC. Positioning on most surfaces is achieved by adjustable wheels underneath the sensor device.

  • Measurements on most various street surfaces:
  • Open-pored asphalt, cast asphalt, concrete with brush lines, washed-out concrete...
  • Quality control of fresh street tarmac:
  • Distribution of grain sizes
  • Evaluation of roughness parameters
  • Volume measurement
  • Wear and tear evaluation of street surfaces:
  • Changes in surface structures
  • Acquisition of structural data for noise simulation

Measurement of microstructures, and hand-guided sensors:

We carry a wide variety of other instruments suitable for street surface inspection and measurement. For comprehensive information, please fill in our inquiry form.
