Since 15 years, GFMesstechnik is developing, producing and marketing optical 3D measuring and inspection systems and associated application software, world wide. GFM's proprietary technology is a highly accurate, digital variety of phase measuring fringe projection, providing comprehensive and outstandingly fast surface scanning. Analyzing the intensity gradients of projected patterns delivers orders of magnitude better accuracy than with classical triangulation methods. Extreme light intensity, virtually unlimited durability and digital precision are unbeatable advantages of the projection by digital micro mirror displays (DLP), exclusively employed for this applicartion by GFM. more..

History
GFMesstechnik GmbH (GFM) has originally been founded in 1995 by Dr. Gottfried Frankowski under the name OMECA Messtechnik GmbH. This company name was deri9ved from "Optical MEasurement, Coding and Analysis", which are our prevalent working areas until today. Inn the course of further business development, it was decided to change the company name, for better distinction in the market segment and augmented perceptibility. Since June 1, 1998, the company was therefore named GFM, according to the initials of its founder.
